On September 20, 2010 our friend Kolbe was driving through Eastern Washington and e-mailed us asking if we wanted him to pick up a 15-gallon oak barrel from Dry Fly Distilling used to age their Wheat Whiskey.

He wasn’t serious.

But we said yes.

And so it began.
