A simple Pale Ale brewed using only the homegrown Centennial and Cascade hops from my first year backyard hop harvest.

Recipe

The recipe was very simple:

Malt

• 1 lb Crystal 40 malt
• 6 lbs light dry malt extract

Hops

• ~5/8 oz Centennial (all)
  • 60 minutes (bittering)
• 0.5 oz Cascade
  • 60 minutes (bittering)
• 1 oz Cascade
  • 12 minutes (flavoring)
• 0.5 oz Cascade
  • 1 minute (aroma)

Yeast

• 1 package Wyeast
  (Whoops! I didn’t note which kind)
